The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gust De Mey helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, FC Dharma Initiative was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gust De Mey to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Elfii's Doru Mârza tried to score from far away in the 3rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Francois Vanden Bossche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basarab Muslea in the 5th minute of the match. Koen Steckens scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rareș Bârlă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute Basarab Muslea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francois Vanden Bossche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Muslea in the 14th minute of play forced FC Dharma Initiative's goalkeeper Francois Vanden Bossche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rareș Bârlă came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dharma Initiative's Koen Steckens. But to his dismay, Koen Steckens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Elfii's Rareș Bârlă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koen Steckens in the 27th minute of play. When Elfii's Basarab Muslea in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Dharma Initiative's goalie prevented a goal. Rareș Bârlă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorden Tubbackx in the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to Elfii getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gavril Crâșmaru hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Muslea in the 40th minute of play forced FC Dharma Initiative's goalkeeper Francois Vanden Bossche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Dharma Initiative getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Lennart Blommaert hit a great ball. FC Dharma Initiative's Jorden Tubbackx got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rareș Bârlă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koen Steckens in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basarab Muslea was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Elfii's goal looked a bit too open when Tibau De Jaeger came free, but Rareș Bârlă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Elfii's Doru Mârza broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 62nd match minute, Elfii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ion Emilianu to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Koen Steckens sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Elfii's Rareș Bârlă didn't even have to move. 65 minutes into the game, Jorden Tubbackx recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rareș Bârlă. Jorden Tubbackx showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 73 minutes into the match, Lennart Blommaert notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Elfii's Rareș Bârlă. Rareș Bârlă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Jorden Tubbackx came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the FC Dharma Initiative fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorden Tubbackx couldn't finish the play. Francois Vanden Bossche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basarab Muslea in the 79th minute of the match. Koen Steckens did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Rareș Bârlă 83 minutes into the match. FC Dharma Initiative's Francois Vanden Bossche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Muslea in the 90th minute of play.
