The referee ignored Marshrose's protests and gave Ulysses Dennison a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Marshrose's Ulysses Dennison got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Joinville Esporte Clube's attack was well implemented in the 83rd minute, but when Gonçalo Catarinense was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. In the 90th minute, Edward Desilets ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eriberto Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ulysses Dennison kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Marshrose's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
