Lucas Hendrix made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Iordache Donici sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes in the game, Andrei Davidescu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 37th minute Andrei Davidescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Hendrix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Hendrix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrei Davidescu's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 46 minutes into the match, Ekedalen SK's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Davidescu came free, but Lucas Hendrix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Ove Nordstedt's late challenge caught a The Valar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iosif Vladimirescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Verner Vesterberg kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Lucas Hendrix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Davidescu in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, The Valar's Gică Popescu got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 71 played minutes, Ekedalen SK's Sten Hagberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iosif Vladimirescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ekedalen SK reached it. After a rather tough play, Ekedalen SK's Jan-Ove Nordstedt got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 74th minute of the match Rareș Ţeica sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Hendrix skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ekedalen SK's zone, Ion Otopeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Hendrix came out of the goal and Ion Otopeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Hendrix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Davidescu in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of The Valar booed when Ekedalen SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Ove Nordstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, The Valar's Iosif Vladimirescu got control of the ball when Uno Åkesson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Sten Hagberg fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ekedalen SK's protests and gave Sten Hagberg a yellow card for diving instead. Sten Hagberg kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Gică Popescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucas Hendrix. Ekedalen SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ion Otopeanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Hendrix was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
