Jose-Luis Vives received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Denis Ruddock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Jose-Luis Vives left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Pasteral F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After having played for 48 minutes, Rupert Hotte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centre of Excellence AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rupert Hotte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Centre of Excellence AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Pasteral F.C were winning 0-2.

A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Phil Cotterill with Martin Greenfield as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Rupert Hotte hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 70 minutes in the game Phil Cotterill did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Martin Greenfield. 76 minutes into the match, Centre of Excellence AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose-Luis Vives came free, but Denis Ruddock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Rupert Hotte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Verdu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Ruddock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose-Luis Vives, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The supporters of El Pasteral F.C booed when Centre of Excellence AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zaq Ramsay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Centre of Excellence AFC's Rupert Hotte got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Rupert Hotte off the ground. After 96 played minutes Centre of Excellence AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Hotte. Although Centre of Excellence AFC had been in control for most of the match, El Pasteral F.C still came away with the win.
