After recieving a nice pass, Feminista MZC's Zé Paulo Severo tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 14 played minutes Arye Suryoye got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Olsson. Zé Paulo Severo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jens Duset. Arye Suryoye's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jens Duset stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Paes's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Délio Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Duset having to interfere. A collision led to Feminista MZC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Joel Amorim hit a great ball. Jens Duset stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Paes's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. A collision led to Feminista MZC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Agnaldo Sarmento hit a great ball. In the 34th minute of the match Alexander Wenerdahl sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caetano Pirani skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Pedro Paes put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jens Duset. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Paes to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Washington Coutinho suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Dag Skoog fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arye Suryoye's protests and gave Dag Skoog a yellow card for diving instead. Feminista MZC made a substitution. Frederico Vieira replaced Washington Coutinho. In the 53rd match minute, Arye Suryoye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Skoog to maneuver through the defense. Feminista MZC's Caetano Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Majman in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Arye Suryoye getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Dag Skoog hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Zé Paulo Severo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Arye Suryoye's Jens Duset didn't even have to move. Feminista MZC's Délio Maciel got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
