An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Villagra in the 9th minute of play forced Cuervo Loco FC's goalkeeper Franco Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Rafael Santos Borré notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Talleres's Albino Nofre. Albino Nofre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 45 played minutes Cuervo Loco FC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Diagur. In the 46th minute Ariel Burko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ariel Burko made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Cuervo Loco FC's goalkeeper Franco Armani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Diaz. In the 58th minute, Rafael Santos Borré left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuervo Loco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 64th minute of the match, Rodrigo Villagra tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franco Armani saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rodrigo Villagra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Franco Armani made a huge save. Cuervo Loco FC's Franco Armani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Cuervo Loco FC from getting a goal against them. Franco Armani was a little too slow when Adolfo Diaz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 2-2. Cuervo Loco FC's Franco Armani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Cuervo Loco FC from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute, Talleres's Rodrigo Villagra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Cuervo Loco FC's Franco Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Burko in the 88th minute of play. Franco Armani was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Rodrigo Villagra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodrigo Villagra really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. In the 93rd minute, Franco Mastantuono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
