Freddy Tilemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Lewis, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Stephan McCracken made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Omer Vandamme sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd match minute, Lake Junaluska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Ashby to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes North Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Arnauld Gramet. After 26 played minutes Lake Junaluska FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Corley. Omer Vandamme struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Stephan McCracken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Hill United. When Mil Vandamme fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Hill United's protests and gave Mil Vandamme a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lake Junaluska FC booed when North Hill United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mil Vandamme didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Grady Rosales sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddy Tilemans skillfully saved the ball. With an all-out effort, North Hill United's Stephan McCracken threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mil Vandamme, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lake Junaluska FC's Stephan McCracken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Lake Junaluska FC from getting a goal against them. Arnauld Gramet kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casper Castillo De Reyes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omer Vandamme in the 59th minute of play forced Lake Junaluska FC's goalkeeper Stephan McCracken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Omer Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephan McCracken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stephan McCracken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnauld Gramet in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Grady Rosales had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Tilemans. North Hill United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grady Rosales was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 73rd minute, Lake Junaluska FC's Joshua Lewis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. 77 minutes into the match, Lake Junaluska FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnauld Gramet came free, but Stephan McCracken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, North Hill United's Freddy Tilemans got control of the ball when Joshua Lewis tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Omer Vandamme came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the North Hill United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omer Vandamme couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Lake Junaluska FC booed when North Hill United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omer Vandamme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Flynn kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Omer Vandamme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Hill United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lake Junaluska FC the free kick. Lake Junaluska FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because North Hill United had won, even though Lake Junaluska FC had held more of the ball.
