Candasa Patel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grady Rosales's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lake Junaluska FC's Casper Castillo De Reyes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Candasa Patel. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. 26 minutes into the game, Clanfield's Krishnamachari Mallik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stephan McCracken made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Casper Castillo De Reyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Candasa Patel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Krishnamachari Mallik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan McCracken having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Grady Rosales ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candasa Patel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Casper Castillo De Reyes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Candasa Patel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Candasa Patel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grady Rosales in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Clanfield's Dara Sabdhu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stephan McCracken made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Candasa Patel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Casper Castillo De Reyes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 46 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casper Castillo De Reyes was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Lake Junaluska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Castillo De Reyes to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joshua Lewis in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candasa Patel saved Clanfield from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Casper Castillo De Reyes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lake Junaluska FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Candasa Patel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grady Rosales, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Joshua Lewis scored 6-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Candasa Patel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Clanfield defense, Grady Rosales kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Candasa Patel. The Clanfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candasa Patel should have stopped the shot.
