The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Santul FC booed when LZS Turawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachary Birkenhagen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Teodor Burileanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santul FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Valeriu Panaite fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santul FC's protests and gave Valeriu Panaite a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Santul FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Panaite to maneuver through the defense. When Miromir Sanocki fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LZS Turawa's protests and gave Miromir Sanocki a yellow card for diving instead. Sever Bianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes LZS Turawa got a freekick which was hit by Tobiasz Siembab. Valeriu Panaite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Olgierd Chuchro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miromir Sanocki kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Teodor Burileanu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Santul FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodor Burileanu couldn't finish the play. If Teodor Burileanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Santul FC's Olgierd Chuchro threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodor Burileanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rafal Debowski hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ksawery Siwy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zachary Birkenhagen struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Sever Bianu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LZS Turawa. 70 minutes into the game, Marcin Terasek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LZS Turawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santul FC the free kick. After 70 played minutes LZS Turawa got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Terasek. LZS Turawa's Olgierd Chuchro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Jurcuț in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th minute Teodor Burileanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olgierd Chuchro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachary Birkenhagen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sever Bianu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Santul FC's Sever Bianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ksawery Siwy in the 93rd minute of play. Nae Penciulescu hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
