The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Sarmiento in the 8th minute of play forced CA Juventud Unida's goalkeeper Marcelo Brion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Romulo Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Esteban Lucian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Brion. Esteban Lucian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 17th minute, Jeremias Medina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Sarmiento de Resistencia defense, Ricardo Gelacio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernabe George. The Sarmiento de Resistencia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernabe George should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Ricardo Gelacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernabe George. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Gelacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Gabby Sarmiento got a free kick in the 24th minute. Bernabe George showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Gelacio came free, but Bernabe George reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernabe George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Lia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Brion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Sarmiento in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Romulo Sarmiento notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of CA Juventud Unida's Marcelo Brion. Marcelo Brion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Lia in the 37th minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Bernabe George to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sarmiento de Resistencia booed when CA Juventud Unida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Kelemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernabe George showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Gelacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Gelacio to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to CA Juventud Unida getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Honorato Ibon hit a great ball. Marcelo Brion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Sarmiento in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Cebo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Alberto Sarmiento got a free kick in the 68th minute. A collision led to CA Juventud Unida getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Jeremias Medina hit a great ball. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Bernabe George played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Medina in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th play minute Ricardo Gelacio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bernabe George. 2-4. Gabriel Cebo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Marcelo Brion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Bernabe George successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Sarmiento de Resistencia getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Aaron Sarmiento hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded CA Juventud Unida left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sarmiento de Resistencia.
