In the 6th minute, Telmo Seixas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 8 minutes of play, Eureka's Telmo Seixas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giorgos Meletiadis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vassilis Parlapidis hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Giorgos Meletiadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Seixas in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes AMFITHEA got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Kourtzidis. In the 17th minute, Telmo Seixas made a precise shot to the right of Giorgos Meletiadis. AMFITHEA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Gervásio Raminhos made a precise shot to the right of Giorgos Meletiadis. AMFITHEA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Giorgos Meletiadis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Telmo Seixas's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The supporters of Eureka booed when AMFITHEA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Karasavvidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Fotis Theodoropoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AMFITHEA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eureka the free kick. A collision led to AMFITHEA getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fotis Theodoropoulos hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Daniel Pedroso notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of AMFITHEA's Giorgos Meletiadis. Giorgos Meletiadis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute Daniel Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Meletiadis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Meletiadis having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Eureka's Daniel Pedroso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giorgos Meletiadis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The AMFITHEA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eureka were winning 0-5.

In the 52nd minute, Giorgos Kourtzidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Giorgos Meletiadis managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Eureka's Daniel Pedroso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Seixas in the 61st minute of play forced AMFITHEA's goalkeeper Giorgos Meletiadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vassilis Parlapidis charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vassilis Parlapidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Seixas in the 70th minute of play forced AMFITHEA's goalkeeper Giorgos Meletiadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Telmo Seixas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Giorgos Meletiadis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eureka's Telmo Seixas in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AMFITHEA's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, AMFITHEA's Lambros Xenidis got a free kick in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Eureka's goal looked a bit too open when Fotis Theodoropoulos came free, but António Carmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Fotis Theodoropoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eureka's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
