In the 12th minute Tibau Van dooren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Ferit İlkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute Jens-Åke Falck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Smedts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Felipe Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Timmernabben FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 23rd minute, Christer Majman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Smedts was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Timmernabben FF's Mehmet Ferit İlkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Timmernabben FF from getting a goal against them. Tibau Van dooren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augustijn Jenken kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin booed when Timmernabben FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Christoffersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's David Smedts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Jeppesen in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's David Smedts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christer Majman got free with David Smedts in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th match minute, Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serge Raeimakers to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's David Smedts got control of the ball when Lars Jeppesen tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Timmernabben FF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin throughout the match.
