Kristian Lynch started the match with the kick off. A collision led to SC Atabueira getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Alexandre Trigueiro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Atabueira's zone, Benji Booth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sálvio Vital came out of the goal and Benji Booth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Matias kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Racing Club Warwick booed when SC Atabueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Igor Ponte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saúl Caneira in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danny Hewitt saved Racing Club Warwick from getting behind. The supporters of Racing Club Warwick booed when SC Atabueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Quintas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristian Lynch kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Benji Booth kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Racing Club Warwick got a freekick which was hit by Johnathon Griffin. In the 46th minute, Manuel Quintas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Racing Club Warwick's Danny Hewitt didn't even have to move. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Ponte to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, one of SC Atabueira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Racing Club Warwick. Piers Horsey stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sálvio Vital. 1-1. In the 60th minute, Igor Ponte made a precise shot to the right of Danny Hewitt. Racing Club Warwick's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Igor Ponte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Hewitt having to interfere. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Saúl Caneira sped through Racing Club Warwick's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Danny Hewitt. Aristides Matias charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aristides Matias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 minutes, Alexandre Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Atabueira and the Racing Club Warwick players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Atabueira getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Alexandre Azevedo hit a great ball. When Igor Ponte came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the SC Atabueira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Ponte couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, SC Atabueira's Igor Ponte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. In the 86th minute, Saúl Caneira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danny Hewitt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Racing Club Warwick's Danny Hewitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Azevedo in the 91st minute of play. When the final whistle sounded SC Atabueira left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Racing Club Warwick.
