Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jan Lustig, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Ibirama Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Oséias Severo hit a great ball. When Villiam Mårtensson came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Djurgårdens IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Villiam Mårtensson couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Villiam Mårtensson in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Dolcet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Froilan Dolcet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villiam Mårtensson in the 25th minute of play. Dudu Pinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Lustig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Jan Lustig came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibirama Futebol Clube's Dedé Dante. But to his dismay, Dedé Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jan Lustig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dedé Dante in the 34th minute. Villiam Mårtensson kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Djurgårdens IF's Stig-Åke Skark got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Dudu Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Lustig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Pinho in the 40th minute of the match. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Froilan Dolcet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villiam Mårtensson in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Villiam Mårtensson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Adrianinho Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Lustig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 54th minute Dedé Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Lustig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Joaquim Félix came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ibirama Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. Djurgårdens IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibirama Futebol Clube the free kick. Sten Hård kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ibirama Futebol Clube fully deserved thier win.
