If Rolando Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Astrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Reis in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Jurdan in the 23rd minute of play forced FORÇA JOVEM F.C's goalkeeper Juan Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Cacá Meira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FORÇA JOVEM F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stray Cats SJFC Millonary the free kick. After 25 played minutes FORÇA JOVEM F.C got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Meira. Rolando Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgardo Astrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Reis in the 29th minute of the match. After 34 minutes Stray Cats SJFC Millonary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alberto Vianna who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FORÇA JOVEM F.C's Alberto Vianna to fire away a dangerous shot which Edgardo Astrada despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Edgardo Astrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademar Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stray Cats SJFC Millonary's Edgardo Astrada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Stray Cats SJFC Millonary from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Vianna got free with Edgardo Astrada in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ademar Severo was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Vianna in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgardo Astrada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 minutes of play, FORÇA JOVEM F.C's Sidnei Reis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgardo Astrada was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the game, Freddy Raphael recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Pirani. Freddy Raphael showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Ezequiel Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Juan Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Reis in the 77th minute of play forced Stray Cats SJFC Millonary's goalkeeper Edgardo Astrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Stray Cats SJFC Millonary's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Reis came free, but Edgardo Astrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Guga Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Astrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Stray Cats SJFC Millonary's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Severo came free, but Edgardo Astrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Ademar Severo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgardo Astrada was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Breno de Barros fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FORÇA JOVEM F.C's protests and gave Breno de Barros a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes FORÇA JOVEM F.C got a freekick which was hit by Breno de Barros. In the 91st match minute, FORÇA JOVEM F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Vianna to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FORÇA JOVEM F.C had played much better football throughout.
