In the 3rd minute, Hüseyin Turan Uçarer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roy De Witte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jânio Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Bayburtspor got a freekick which was hit by Hüseyin Turan Uçarer. Jânio Esteves came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bayburtspor's Roy De Witte. But to his dismay, Roy De Witte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 37 minutes, Hıdır Uçur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayburtspor and the Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bayburtspor getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Hıdır Uçur hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tarcisio Saraiva to make the kick off. Roy De Witte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Esteves having to interfere. Jânio Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roy De Witte went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Roy De Witte struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Jânio Esteves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bayburtspor. Jânio Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy De Witte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayburtspor's Mehmet Ali Eriş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Bayburtspor from getting a goal against them. Jânio Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy De Witte in the 88th minute of the match. After 90 minutes, Göktan Sökmen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayburtspor and the Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Göktan Sökmen kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The Bayburtspor support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
