Elberg Azov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The The Heren Istarion fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when The Heren Istarion's Khamzat Chimaev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Elberg Azov took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pentti Paananen. Pentti Paananen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 10 minutes into the match, Kannonjärvi IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Elberg Azov came free, but Pentti Paananen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Herkko Pasanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Elberg Azov sped through Kannonjärvi IFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pentti Paananen. In the 19thth minute of the game Elberg Azov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kannonjärvi IFK's Pentti Paananen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pentti Paananen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elberg Azov's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the game, Elberg Azov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Pentti Paananen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, The Heren Istarion's Ivar Back got a free kick in the 28th minute. Pentti Paananen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elberg Azov in the 32nd minute of the match. Pentti Paananen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elberg Azov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Elberg Azov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pentti Paananen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elberg Azov in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Elberg Azov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pentti Paananen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Elberg Azov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pentti Paananen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Khamzat Chimaev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Pekko Blom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kannonjärvi IFK and the The Heren Istarion players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Kannonjärvi IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pekko Blom to maneuver through the defense. Elberg Azovs short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Pentti Paananen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Elberg Azov could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Pentti Paananen however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elberg Azov in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pentti Paananen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute, Elberg Azov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pentti Paananen. The goal made the score 0-7. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Elberg Azov took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Pentti Paananen to make any attempt to save it. If Elberg Azov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kannonjärvi IFK's Pentti Paananen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Kannonjärvi IFK from getting a goal against them. Pentti Paananen came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by The Heren Istarion's Khamzat Chimaev. But to his dismay, Khamzat Chimaev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. When Khamzat Chimaev in the 79th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Pentti Paananen kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-11 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Elberg Azov put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Pentti Paananen. Pentti Paananen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elberg Azov's shot from short distance in the 89th minute.
