The audience was convinced that Batıhan Alatay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joshua Burgstaller was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Batıhan Alatay in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joshua Burgstaller saved CF Korneuburg from getting behind. After a rather tough play, CF Korneuburg's Gordon Bachmeier got a free kick in the 17th minute. Kuva-yi Milliye's Wieslaw Kazczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Bachmeier in the 21st minute of play. A hard shot 33 in the game by Batıhan Alatay from a close distance when the talented Joshua Burgstaller managed to make a qualified save. CF Korneuburg's players were relieved. In the 34th minute of the match, Aybar Cebir tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joshua Burgstaller saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 38 minutes, Batıhan Alatay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kuva-yi Milliye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batıhan Alatay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hakkı Sayyad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Kuva-yi Milliye's Batıhan Alatay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joshua Burgstaller. Joshua Burgstaller yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Willi Schwickart lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of CF Korneuburg:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kuva-yi Milliye:s goal. CF Korneuburg:s Joshua Burgstaller showed great skill when he stopped Abdurrezzak Orkan:s penalty. 48 minutes into the game, Kuva-yi Milliye's Abdurrezzak Orkan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joshua Burgstaller made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Joshua Burgstaller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batıhan Alatay, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CF Korneuburg's zone, Hasan Ali Hakim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joshua Burgstaller came out of the goal and Hasan Ali Hakim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Batıhan Alatay in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joshua Burgstaller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gordon Bachmeier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Wieslaw Kazczyk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hakkı Sayyad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joshua Burgstaller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Batıhan Alatay's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After 91 played minutes CF Korneuburg got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Bachmeier. After 93 played minutes CF Korneuburg got a freekick which was hit by Falk Kessler. In the 95th minute Batıhan Alatay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Burgstaller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 98 minutes, Gordon Bachmeier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CF Korneuburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gordon Bachmeier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kuva-yi Milliye walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
