The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Henríquez during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Henríquez hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Indar came free, but Vicens Magofke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Ilazki made a great header on Rafaela FC's corner, it was just that Colo-Colo's Vicens Magofke managed to reach the ball for a save. Gualterio Turi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucho Pérez in the 11th minute of play. Alexis Ardizzoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gualterio Turi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexis Ardizzoni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gualterio Turi. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Servando to maneuver through the defense. Alexis Ardizzoni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualterio Turi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Iker Roldanillo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Manolito Neira struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Gualterio Turi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colo-Colo. After having played for 23 minutes, Alexis Ardizzoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colo-Colo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexis Ardizzoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iker Roldanillo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, Hector Servando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rafaela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colo-Colo the free kick. In the 25th minute, Hector Servando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Manolito Neira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gualterio Turi, 2-0. Rafaela FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Frank Lobos scored to the left of an out of position Gualterio Turi, making the score, 3-0. With a little luck, Rafaela FC's Gualterio Turi got control of the ball when Frank Lobos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gualterio Turi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolito Neira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Martin Hurko made the kick off in the second half. Alexis Ardizzoni took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualterio Turi. Gualterio Turi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Gualterio Turi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manolito Neira went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manolito Neira came free, but Gualterio Turi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafaela FC's Gualterio Turi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolito Neira in the 63rd minute of play. Gualterio Turi came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Colo-Colo's Frank Lobos. But to his dismay, Frank Lobos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 69th match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Indar to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Dalmacio Indar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Manolito Neira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colo-Colo's supporters rose to their feet, but Manolito Neira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Turi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santos Galoer kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Manolito Neira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Turi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafaela FC's Gualterio Turi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Ardizzoni in the 74th minute of play. Manolito Neira scored 7-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gualterio Turi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute Alexis Ardizzoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Turi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Lucho Pérez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colo-Colo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Gualterio Turi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucho Pérez, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Dalmacio Indar hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Colo-Colo's Basilio Depsch was substituted for Lucho Pérez. In the 91st minute, Dalmacio Indar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualterio Turi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Depsch in the 92nd minute of play. Colo-Colo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bermejo Pretot in the 94th minute.
