The referee ignored Pampas Team's protests and gave Maule Crespo a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Pampas Team got a freekick which was hit by Maule Crespo. Nastasio Barral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denver Grimes in the 15th minute. Nastasio Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Stover in the 24th minute of the match. Pampas Team's Nastasio Barral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Pampas Team from getting a goal against them. Mario Dostie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nastasio Barral having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Junior Stover to maneuver through the defense. Scottie Correa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xosepin Garate in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Mauro Boucher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Pampas Team getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Lorencio Escobar hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Stuart Schmitz fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Qikiqtarjuaq FC's protests and gave Stuart Schmitz a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a freekick which was hit by Stuart Schmitz. Lorencio Escobar's late challenge caught a Qikiqtarjuaq FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorencio Escobar helped the player get up and apologised. Lorencio Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Nastasio Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Dostie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Pampas Team's Aznaro Rua dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. In the 70th match minute, Pampas Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maule Crespo to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute Terrence Arthur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nastasio Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute Qikiqtarjuaq FC were awarded a corner. Cyrus Velasco went to the cornerflag to take it. Cyrus Velasco made a great header on Qikiqtarjuaq FC's corner, it was just that Pampas Team's Nastasio Barral managed to reach the ball for a save. 74 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maule Crespo came free, but Scottie Correa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Terrence Arthur hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Xosepin Garate hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Nastasio Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terrence Arthur, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Scottie Correa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Apat Cazorla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Scottie Correa. The goal made the score 0-2. If Lorencio Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Scottie Correa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maule Crespo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Scottie Correa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorencio Escobar. Pampas Team's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
