After 5 minutes, Angelo Arenas made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Scottie Correa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fortunato Amer charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fortunato Amer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Amer. Saverio Alfaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Scottie Correa made a huge save. Amerigo Batuecas scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Scottie Correa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Scottie Correa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Qikiqtarjuaq FC from getting a goal against them. Lazcano Gómez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrence Arthur in the 27th minute of the match. Lazcano Gómez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terrence Arthur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felip Japón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Scottie Correa made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, Mario Dostie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lazcano Gómez. A.D. Alcorcón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Dostie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Lazcano Gómez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Stover in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Dostie got free with Lazcano Gómez in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Angelo Arenas notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Scottie Correa. Scottie Correa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Junior Stover in the 67th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Lazcano Gómez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Scottie Correa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Alfaro in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, A.D. Alcorcón's Amerigo Batuecas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Scottie Correa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Mario Dostie's late challenge caught a A.D. Alcorcón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Dostie helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Dostie. The supporters of A.D. Alcorcón booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terrence Arthur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
