The audience thought a goal was coming when Kryspin Przybylo got free with Warren Dutzler in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 4th minute, Immanuel Rusterholz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Czeslaw Wejta in the 5th minute really tested Warren Dutzler's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 12 minutes into the match, MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luis Palluzzi came free, but Pankracy Adamski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wojciech Korytkowski during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hemmersbacher SV booed when MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wojciech Korytkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kryspin Przybylo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Warren Dutzler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Czeslaw Czerniak in the 17th minute of the match. Pankracy Adamski came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Hemmersbacher SV's Olaf Teufer. But to his dismay, Olaf Teufer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the game, Hemmersbacher SV's Olaf Teufer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Adamski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Hemmersbacher SV booed when MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Czerniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kazimierz Puch's late challenge caught a Hemmersbacher SV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kazimierz Puch helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hemmersbacher SV booed when MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazimierz Puch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Feliks Damaski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Luis Palluzzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Adamski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ray Phaneuf hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half Hemmersbacher SV were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olaf Teufer to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp.'s zone, Luis Palluzzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Adamski came out of the goal and Luis Palluzzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pankracy Adamski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olaf Teufer in the 53rd minute. Rupert Schreiber received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pankracy Adamski came out and tried to block the shot, but Rupert Schreiber slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 54th minute. In the 58th match minute, MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Czerniak to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Hemmersbacher SV's Olaf Teufer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pankracy Adamski. Pankracy Adamski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Warren Dutzler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliks Damaski in the 63rd minute of the match. Warren Dutzler came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp.'s Wincenty Majorski. But to his dismay, Wincenty Majorski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Pankracy Adamski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joao Käuflin in the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olaf Teufer in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Adamski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pankracy Adamski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Palluzzi in the 84th minute of the match. Rupert Schreiber's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pankracy Adamski firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 88 minutes, Ryszard Smolarek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp. and the Hemmersbacher SV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp. got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Smolarek. Olaf Teufer's late challenge caught a MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olaf Teufer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hemmersbacher SV's Olaf Teufer got a free kick in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Kretz got free with Pankracy Adamski in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hemmersbacher SV played a much better game than MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp. and deserved their victory. The MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
