Thanks to some nice moves Elias Abascal could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Christo Thaumüller however easily saved by the left post. In the 7th minute, Fernando Llanos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christo Thaumüller was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 20th minute Ludwig Unger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Madaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Murat Prüll fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alemannia Aachen's protests and gave Murat Prüll a yellow card for diving instead. But to his dismay, Hermengildo Araoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ludwig Unger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Lobo's Andres Madaleno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christo Thaumüller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Araoz in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of El Lobo booed when Alemannia Aachen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Ostertag didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Ludwig Unger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 minutes, Rodolfo Napier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Lobo and the Alemannia Aachen players grew even worse after the yellow card. El Lobo:s Andres Madaleno showed great skill when he stopped Ludwig Unger:s penalty.
