The audience was convinced that Arvid Wacker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Garikoitz was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 龚常冰 made a kick off. Eugenio Garikoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Wacker in the 56th minute of play. If Wolfgang Schürhoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Ulrich Pickartz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eugenio Garikoitz, 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Elis Färber kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eugenio Garikoitz. That made the score 0-8 in the 81 minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Mar del Tuyu F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ulrich Pickartz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Ulrich Pickartz came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Tiger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulrich Pickartz couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mar del Tuyu F.C's goalkeeper Eugenio Garikoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wolf Poll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Bieito in the 88th minute of play. Ulrich Pickartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Garikoitz having to interfere. Eugenio Garikoitz was a little too slow when Ulrich Pickartz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-9.
