Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Aldo Blanco got a free kick in the 61st minute. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Virgilio Pacifico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Buga in the 62nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Yağızhan Yurdaşen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ion Cârlig. That made the score 0-5 in the 63 minute of play. Mavian UFC's Ion Cârlig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yağızhan Yurdaşen in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mavian UFC's zone, Maximiliano Remir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ion Cârlig came out of the goal and Maximiliano Remir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 minutes, Aldo Blanco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patricio Rey Futbol Club and the Mavian UFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Patricio Rey Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Blanco to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Ciprian Prepelitã was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mavian UFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patricio Rey Futbol Club the free kick. A collision led to Mavian UFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ciprian Prepelitã hit a great ball. Ion Cârlig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Blanco in the 86th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Yağızhan Yurdaşen made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ion Cârlig was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Yağızhan Yurdaşen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ion Cârlig. That made the score 0-8 in the 96 minute of play. When the match was over Patricio Rey Futbol Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mavian UFC throughout the match.
