Hanns Bachmayr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Kauan Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Coritiba City's zone, Harald Strasdeit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauan Cruz came out of the goal and Harald Strasdeit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donald Seemayer came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kauan Cruz could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hanns Bachmayr in the 12th minute of play forced Coritiba City's goalkeeper Kauan Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Coritiba City's goal looked a bit too open when Hanns Bachmayr came free, but Kauan Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robinho Sanches charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robinho Sanches the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Robinho Sanches hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donald Seemayer in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kauan Cruz saved Coritiba City from getting behind. Donald Seemayer kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Falkenhide F.C's Kurt Döbele got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 37 played minutes, Coritiba City's Nestor de Amorim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reiner Schwanitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Coritiba City reached it. After 37 played minutes Coritiba City got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Prado. Reiner Schwanitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute José Pedro Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reiner Schwanitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Valle to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Coritiba City's Reiner Schwanitz threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudinei Pinho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 57 minutes, Peter Görtz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falkenhide F.C and the Coritiba City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Falkenhide F.C got a freekick which was hit by Peter Görtz. Reiner Schwanitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Valle in the 58th minute. Dragan Schwerinski kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A hard shot by Nestor de Amorim from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Reiner Schwanitz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 63rd minute Ernesto Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reiner Schwanitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Görtz got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Falkenhide F.C's Peter Görtz got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67thth minute Harald Strasdeit easily got through Coritiba City's defense and fired away a shot, but Kauan Cruz leaped left and performed a fabulous save. In the 68th minute of the match Falkenhide F.C got a corner. Coritiba City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kurt Döbele ran over to the corner to take the kick. Falkenhide F.C's Kurt Döbele was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kauan Cruz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 75thth minute of the game Donald Seemayer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coritiba City's Kauan Cruz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tarcisio Lopes during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tarcisio Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Kauan Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donald Seemayer's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Primus Barth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Donald Seemayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Falkenhide F.C's goalkeeper Reiner Schwanitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Pedro Munhoz. After 93 minutes, Donald Seemayer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falkenhide F.C and the Coritiba City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donald Seemayer hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Donald Seemayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Coritiba City had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
