After 15 minutes, Alberto Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF and the spikarna players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of spikarna booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. spikarna's Samuel Enström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Matos in the 17th minute of play. Samuel Enström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilson Paraibano in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Alcântara in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Enström saved spikarna from getting behind. Nilson Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Enström having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Daniel Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Enström. spikarna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Samuel Enström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilson Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Alcântara in the 32nd minute of play forced spikarna's goalkeeper Samuel Enström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Alcântara got free with Samuel Enström in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samuel Enström was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Daniel Alcântara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Alcântara really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. In the 42nd minute, Sven-Olof Petersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Nils Andreasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. spikarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rondinone F.C - FDFDF the free kick. In the 45th minute, Nils Andreasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Helge Ingvall during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques was substituted for Nelson Esteves. Helge Ingvall hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Róbson Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to spikarna getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gunnar Bäcklin hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Alcântara in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Enström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alberto Freire got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alberto Freire hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Freire. After 66 minutes of play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Daniel Alcântara made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Enström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute, spikarna's Bernt Martinsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bernt Martinsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of spikarna protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bernt Martinsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Rondinone F.C - FDFDF a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Alcântara, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of spikarna's Samuel Enström. 6-0. Samuel Enström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The corner led Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Róbson Prata to fire away a dangerous shot which Samuel Enström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Róbson Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Enström having to interfere. Samuel Enström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 91 minutes spikarna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Róbson Prata who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Róbson Prata almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but spikarna's Samuel Enström did a great save. 98 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Alcântara came free, but Samuel Enström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
