The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeledon Savion. After 6 minutes of play, AC LeX Luthor's Aristide Ciuvică made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastián Torrico was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Ciuvică in the 8th minute of play forced GreenUnited's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristide Ciuvică who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Sebastián Torrico when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If 白星奕 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GreenUnited's Sebastián Torrico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save GreenUnited from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute Rodion Nikitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Stevens in the 18th minute of play. Aristide Ciuvică struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Sebastián Torrico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC LeX Luthor. Zeledon Savion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sebastián Torrico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simeon Parks's late challenge caught a AC LeX Luthor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simeon Parks helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Simeon Parks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Zeledon Savion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zeledon Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Emanuel Nisio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Stevens took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Eyague. Fulgencio Eyague dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Ciuvică in the 43rd minute of play. The GreenUnited fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when GreenUnited's Emanuel Nisio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yaman Akar made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Savion came free, but Sebastián Torrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastián Torrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Ciuvică, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Zeledon Savion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sebastián Torrico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Peep Pronk replaced Aristide Ciuvică. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaman Akar in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peep Pronk in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastián Torrico saved GreenUnited from getting behind. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Farr in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Yaman Akar managed to get in a good position for a shot. GreenUnited's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaman Akar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulgencio Eyague breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague got control of the ball when Daniel Dănilă tried to sneak it across the goal line. GreenUnited made a substitution. Joao Zuazo replaced Daniel Dănilă. Fulgencio Eyague made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Joao Zuazo sent off a good shot on target. GreenUnited's Sebastián Torrico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Ioniță in the 88th minute of play. Yaman Akar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91stth minute of the game Peep Pronk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GreenUnited's Sebastián Torrico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 91 minutes, Peep Pronk made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. GreenUnited's Sebastián Torrico tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Peep Pronk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastián Torrico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Rodion Nikitin hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. GreenUnited's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
