Abel Caitano hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Santirso came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvano Portillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominik Fink in the 31st minute. Gică Bogdan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Fernando Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toro Martínez made a kick off. Toro Martínez struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Silvano Portillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despidida AFC. With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse got control of the ball when Cristiano Santirso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Despidida AFC made a substitution.
