Zacarias Ascencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bennvar Post's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute, Manfredi AFC's Bennvar Post ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zacarias Ascencio. Zacarias Ascencio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennvar Post in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Manfredi AFC's Makis Antoniadis got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Gomez in the 43rd minute of play forced Manfredi AFC's goalkeeper Roman Vachon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Cristobal Guillelmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, Celta de Virgos's Ruben Gomez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Vachon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Roman Vachon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benny Niva in the 51st minute. Celta de Virgos's Sergio Sayvion quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Virgilio Tajo, made in the 57th minute of the game. Zacarias Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Post in the 61st minute of play. David Astudillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Vachon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Astudillo ran back to his position shaking his head. David Astudillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Roman Vachon made a huge save. In the 74th minute, Love Coca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manfredi AFC's Son Banana was substituted for Bennvar Post. In the 76th minute, David Astudillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roman Vachon. The goal made the score 1-2. After some careless play in the Celta de Virgos defense, Son Banana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacarias Ascencio. The Celta de Virgos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Ascencio should have stopped the shot. Zacarias Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Cordarrel in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute Uriel Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Vachon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Astudillo in the 89th minute of the match. Zacarias Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Son Banana in the 90th minute of play. Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Son Banana in the 93rd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Manfredi AFC's corner Kieran Listkowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zacarias Ascencio quite easily take care of the ball. Son Banana took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Ascencio. Zacarias Ascencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Celta de Virgos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Manfredi AFC.
