Fernando Selatse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danell Mackiathan in the 6th minute of play. If Arturo Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Toro Martínez came free, but David Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Chinese CJ Youth Academy getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Timmy Galle hit a great ball. Toro Martínez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Abad having to make a save. When Turgut Soyuer came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Turgut Soyuer couldn't finish the play. Fernando Selatse made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Turgut Soyuer sent off a good shot on target. Despidida AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Lucila in the 18th minute. Arturo Arano was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The crowd rose to their feet as Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Danell Mackiathan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernando Selatse. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Despidida AFC defense, Danell Mackiathan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Selatse. The Despidida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Selatse should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Toro Martínez came free, but David Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer in the 35th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Fernando Selatse threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Danell Mackiathan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 38 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Danell Mackiathan came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toro Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xu Yong Feng made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Su Jian Jie. After 42 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Rizzo. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Turgut Soyuer shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fernando Selatse but with some difficulty. Danell Mackiathan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernando Selatse came out and tried to block the shot, but Danell Mackiathan slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 44th minute. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

A collision led to Chinese CJ Youth Academy getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Lin Yun Fan hit a great ball. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Danell Mackiathan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Selatse was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco was substituted for Toro Martínez. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Szymon Pyrzyce replaced Arturo Arano. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Soyuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Turgut Soyuer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danell Mackiathan in the 81st minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chinese CJ Youth Academy booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Turgut Soyuer got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute Danell Mackiathan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper David Abad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Velasco. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danell Mackiathan in the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Turgut Soyuer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Selatse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
