Cristobal Estavan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Hondo in the 4th minute of play. Newell´s's Cristobal Estavan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Gar in the 6th minute of play. At last the ball reached Amadeo Lizbeth at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Concordia. 1-0. In the 18th minute, Lobo Ledesma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Estavan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Cristobal Estavan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Socorro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes Newell´s's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cem Özinan who took care of the corner kick. 28 minutes into the match, Concordia's goal looked a bit too open when Ioan Agachi came free, but Agustin Ereinotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Ioan Agachi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristobal Estavan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Hondo in the 35th minute of play. Cristobal Estavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Gar in the 36th minute of the match. Mattias Wallengren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Agustin Ereinotz came out and tried to block the shot, but Mattias Wallengren slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Ioan Agachi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristobal Estavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hektor Hasan in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match, Ioan Agachi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Agustin Ereinotz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Cristobal Estavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hektor Hasan in the 52nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Newell´s's Cristobal Estavan got control of the ball when Antonio Gar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Antonio Gar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristobal Estavan. Newell´s's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Gar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Cristobal Estavan came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Concordia's Hektor Hasan. But to his dismay, Hektor Hasan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Agustin Ereinotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ioan Agachi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Dante Hondo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Cristobal Estavan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Agustin Ereinotz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Wallengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Antonio Gar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Cristobal Estavan made a huge save. In the 73rd match minute, Newell´s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Iago to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Cem Özinan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Newell´s's Cristobal Estavan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Hondo in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Newell´s booed when Concordia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lobo Ledesma didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Newell´s's Albano Bertol got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Agustin Ereinotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioan Agachi in the 84th minute of play. Cristobal Estavan came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Concordia's Antonio Gar. But to his dismay, Antonio Gar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. With an all-out effort, Concordia's Cristobal Estavan threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hektor Hasan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 94 minutes, Ildefonso Mel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Concordia and the Newell´s players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Concordia got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Mel. The Newell´s fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Concordia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
