Fidel Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habib Ali Picavea in the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Christiano Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Trevisan in the 23rd minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Fidel Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Habib Ali Picavea in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 33 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Velasco. Gláuber Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Hinguanzo in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Habib Ali Picavea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Morro Grande E.C's Gláuber Brodel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Morro Grande E.C from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habib Ali Picavea in the 45th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Fidel Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Morro Grande E.C were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Habib Ali Picavea was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, GuateFortín's Fidel Santana got control of the ball when Hélder Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute, Morro Grande E.C's Hélder Velasco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fidel Santana. Fidel Santana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Fidel Santana was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Habib Ali Picavea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 57 minute of play. Gláuber Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Alvarado in the 62nd minute of play. Fidel Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind GuateFortín's goalkeeper Fidel Santana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fidel Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Trevisan in the 69th minute of play. Fidel Santana was a little too slow when Christiano Trevisan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-6. GuateFortín's Fidel Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save GuateFortín from getting a goal against them. After 79 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Ayala. GuateFortín made a substitution. Danilo Viscarra replaced Douglas Ayala.
