In the 24thth minute of the game David Evis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jarana FC's Tadeo Distiratsu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. LA DEL MONO's Anibal Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Gitano in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, David Evis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tadeo Distiratsu, passed just outside the right post. David Evis struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Tadeo Distiratsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA DEL MONO. Vergaray Largacha got a throw-in 40 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wilfredo Gitano. 42 minutes into the game, David Evis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tadeo Distiratsu. David Evis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Anibal Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigve Rossland in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilfredo Gitano to strike the kick off in the second half. Aaron Anselmino made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Jarana FC's Marciano Christobal. When Wilfredo Gitano came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Jarana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Gitano couldn't finish the play. Jarana FC's Apolo Enaut was substituted for Alfredo Rius. Anibal Aritza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from LeBron Puck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Evis during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
