Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denimir Tzonkov in the 2nd minute of play. Ruslan Rúklyov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Tate in the 4th minute of the match. Denimir Tzonkov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmond Verdun having to make a save. In the 8th minute Denimir Tzonkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in VN BAKITO's zone, Joe Tate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruslan Rúklyov came out of the goal and Joe Tate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Denimir Tzonkov came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mauro Rameriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Manuel Theobald suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Blagoy Banovski charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blagoy Banovski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes VN BAKITO got a freekick which was hit by Blagoy Banovski. Joe Tate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ruslan Rúklyov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Errecaborda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Valko De Hond. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denimir Tzonkov in the 19th minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Denimir Tzonkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blagoy Banovski made a great header on VN BAKITO's corner, it was just that Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun managed to reach the ball for a save. 27 minutes into the match, Denimir Tzonkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmond Verdun. Errecaborda AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denimir Tzonkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 30th minute of the match Errecaborda AFC got a corner. VN BAKITO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emílio Terra ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Joe Tate sped through VN BAKITO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruslan Rúklyov. Edmond Verdun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denimir Tzonkov in the 36th minute of the match. After 37 minutes Errecaborda AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Blagoy Banovski who took care of the corner kick. Denimir Tzonkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmond Verdun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denimir Tzonkov ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the match, Denimir Tzonkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmond Verdun. Errecaborda AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denimir Tzonkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Denimir Tzonkov came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the VN BAKITO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denimir Tzonkov couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joe Tate to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Denimir Tzonkov came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denimir Tzonkov scored 1-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmond Verdun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. VN BAKITO's Rusi Plochev was substituted for Isaac Constancio. Rusi Plochev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute Denimir Tzonkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rusi Plochev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Errecaborda AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Blagoy Banovski was slow to take the kick. During this time VN BAKITO's players had a chance to rest. 72 minutes into the match, VN BAKITO's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Rameriz came free, but Ruslan Rúklyov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmond Verdun made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Denimir Tzonkov sent off a good shot on target. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rusi Plochev in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Emílio Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Rúklyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denimir Tzonkov in the 81st minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Emílio Terra notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of VN BAKITO's Ruslan Rúklyov. Ruslan Rúklyov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerasim Berberov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes Errecaborda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Sandalio. Denimir Tzonkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. VN BAKITO walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
