The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rhys Dimmock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baturay Zaim in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Balaeț in the 5th minute of play forced RED KHAGAN's goalkeeper Giotis Tripotseris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Vedillo in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rhys Dimmock saved Zamalek FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Kirkpatrick in the 9th minute of play forced RED KHAGAN's goalkeeper Giotis Tripotseris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Sergey Krasinskiy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giotis Tripotseris. Sergey Krasinskiy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Sebastian Vedillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RED KHAGAN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Elin Elin hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Rhys Dimmock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes Zamalek FC got a freekick which was hit by Elin Elin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daron Joseph got free with Giotis Tripotseris in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, Sebastian Vedillo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock. Rhys Dimmock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Baturay Zaim managed to get in a good position for a shot. RED KHAGAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Baturay Zaim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rhys Dimmock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute Sebastian Vedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Dimmock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rhys Dimmock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yılmaz Başdemir in the 35th minute of play. Rhys Dimmock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baturay Zaim in the 36th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Lane to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Rhys Dimmock successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, RED KHAGAN's Rhys Dimmock threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Vedillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 54 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baturay Zaim. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Sebastian Vedillo took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Rhys Dimmock to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the RED KHAGAN defense, Daron Joseph kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giotis Tripotseris. The RED KHAGAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giotis Tripotseris should have stopped the shot. Giotis Tripotseris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugurel Balaeț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mugurel Balaeț kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Sebastian Vedillo in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rhys Dimmock, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 94 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Vedillo came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giotis Tripotseris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tytus Banaszak in the 96th minute of the match. RED KHAGAN's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
