In the 31st minute Enrico Schmedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Napierkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Terry Kunzmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolland Sallai in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kryspin Napierkowski saved Lokomotiv Sick-Sack from getting behind. Kryspin Napierkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ole Per Schikaneder, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Lokomotiv Sick-Sack's Kryspin Napierkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ole Per Schikaneder in the 45th minute of play. Mark Flecken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Söder in the 46th minute of the match.

Lokomotiv Sick-Sack's He Kuan Ning was substituted for Eric Söder. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lars Billström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lokomotiv Sick-Sack's Lars Billström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mark Flecken in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 90th minute, He Kuan Ning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kryspin Napierkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burkhard Schlick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Patrik Wahlström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Mark Flecken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
