Levi Mertens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Espen Granerud made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Witalis Tamulewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hahay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Witalis Tamulewicz came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Hahay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witalis Tamulewicz couldn't finish the play. If Witalis Tamulewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baxter De Hond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Tamulewicz in the 24th minute of play. Espen Granerud made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Levi Mertens sent off a good shot on target. After 27 minutes Hahay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Levi Mertens who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to de belletrekkers's Quirce Castro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 31st minute Norbert Van den Gans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espen Granerud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. de belletrekkers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Levi Mertens in the 32nd minute. In the 38th match minute, de belletrekkers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diederiek Dujardin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, de belletrekkers's Leon Van Der Meren got a free kick in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Arkadiusz Walec made the kick off in the second half. Witalis Tamulewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Krzysztof Soroka charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Krzysztof Soroka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Soroka. de belletrekkers's Baxter De Hond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Tamulewicz in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Paulus Van Hove's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Espen Granerud was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Baxter De Hond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Tamulewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Witalis Tamulewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baxter De Hond was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. de belletrekkers made a substitution. Arnold De Raemaekers replaced Matthias Claes. After a rather tough play, Hahay's Leonard Gardocki got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th match minute, de belletrekkers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold De Raemaekers to maneuver through the defense. Espen Granerud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Van den Gans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witalis Tamulewicz in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baxter De Hond prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hahay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
