De Boedo Vengo's Victorino Haimar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save De Boedo Vengo from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's Saverio Niva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorino Haimar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Saverio Niva notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of De Boedo Vengo's Victorino Haimar. Victorino Haimar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th match minute, Vancouver Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Krum to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, Saverio Niva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victorino Haimar. Saverio Niva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 18th minute, Vancouver Reds's Rodrigo Ferdinand dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Saverio Niva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorino Haimar was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The corner ended in Greger Sandström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but De Boedo Vengo's Victorino Haimar did a great save. 25 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Ferdinand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Victorino Haimar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 33 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Victorino Haimar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Ferdinand. The crowd rose to their feet as Vancouver Reds's Rodrigo Ferdinand slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victorino Haimar. That made the score 5-0 after 38 minutes of play. Elias Laurentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Rodrigo Ferdinand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vancouver Reds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Ferdinand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo Ferdinand to strike the kick off in the second half. Vancouver Reds's Santana Armada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Custódio in the 53rd minute of play. Saverio Niva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Victorino Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. De Boedo Vengo's Victorino Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Queirós in the 60th minute of play. Victorino Haimar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Ferdinand's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Queirós in the 64th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Victorino Haimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Niva came free, but Victorino Haimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Nyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Santana Armada made a huge save. Victorino Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Santana Armada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Laurentzi in the 76th minute of play. Rodrigo Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Haimar having to interfere. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when De Boedo Vengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Jenaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. De Boedo Vengo's Victorino Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Queirós in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Beltza to maneuver through the defense. After 93 minutes of play, Vancouver Reds's Saverio Niva made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victorino Haimar was left in no man's land by his defense there!
