With a little luck, AFC CERBEROS's Mauro Joachim got control of the ball when Darwin Núñez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Azibar in the 32nd minute of play. Mauro Joachim came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Merengue FC's Ediberto Sampaio. But to his dismay, Ediberto Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Lisandro Suarez kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Bayan Gugovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Azibar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ediberto Sampaio in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mauro Joachim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquiles Urtsin was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Aquiles Urtsin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Joachim. AFC CERBEROS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Urtsin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Ediberto Sampaio sped through AFC CERBEROS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mauro Joachim. The Merengue FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Merengue FC's Ediberto Sampaio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
