Edgar Kensicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olgierd Pieknik having to interfere. Kujawiak Włocławek's Olgierd Pieknik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 9th minute of play. Cãlin Damaschin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Kaczmarek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kujawiak Włocławek's goalie prevented a goal. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olgierd Pieknik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis ran back to his position shaking his head. Kujawiak Włocławek's Olgierd Pieknik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Kujawiak Włocławek defense, Edgar Kensicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olgierd Pieknik. The Kujawiak Włocławek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olgierd Pieknik should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Kujawiak Włocławek's goal looked a bit too open when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis came free, but Olgierd Pieknik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olgierd Pieknik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olgierd Pieknik saved Kujawiak Włocławek from getting behind. After having played for 45 minutes, Abel Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CERRO PORTEÑO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to CERRO PORTEÑO getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Abel Velasco hit a great ball. After the first half CERRO PORTEÑO were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olgierd Pieknik. Olgierd Pieknik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Kaczmarek in the 58th minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Cãlin Damaschin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis scored 0-5 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olgierd Pieknik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 65 minutes Kujawiak Włocławek's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgar Kensicki who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that 叶德光 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olgierd Pieknik quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskiss short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Olgierd Pieknik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olgierd Pieknik came out and tried to block the shot, but Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 77th minute. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Olgierd Pieknik made a huge save. In the 90thth minute of the game Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kujawiak Włocławek's Olgierd Pieknik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Stefan Dziewulski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Maldini. In the 97th minute of the match Ksawery Galaska sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cãlin Damaschin skillfully saved the ball. The Kujawiak Włocławek supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CERRO PORTEÑO's performance. The match ended with a win for CERRO PORTEÑO.
