Fausto Montel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jimmy Olsson having to make a save. Fausto Montel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimmy Olsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Jimmy Olsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Montel's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Willy Witarya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 김 담 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute of the game Nils Svensson made a throw-in which Tavo Tomat played forward. 김 담 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Carlsson in the 21st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Willy Witarya sped through New Loser FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 김 담. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Carlsson in the 27th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper 김 담 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denílson Vides hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Willy Witarya sped through New Loser FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 김 담. Jimmy Olsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qin Yang Yan in the 41st minute. The excitement rose when New Loser FC's Fausto Montel after 45 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-4. Maurinho da Silva hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvid Carlsson in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 김 담 saved New Loser FC from getting behind. After the first half Linköpings AIK were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arvid Carlsson to make the kick off. 김 담 stood somewhat misplaced when Arvid Carlsson came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 53 minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arvid Carlsson got free with 김 담 in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 김 담 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Carlsson in the 60th minute of the match. Linköpings AIK were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after New Loser FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marbjörn Garpsson took the corner. With a little luck, New Loser FC's 김 담 got control of the ball when Albin Nilsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Willy Witarya might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 김 담. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willy Witarya ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 72 minutes, Arvid Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qin Yang Yan in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Albin Nilsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Linköpings AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7.
