When Will Lemerond fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leicester Lions's protests and gave Will Lemerond a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Will Lemerond didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Michal Budzyn. After 8 minutes, Bartolo Rozarius made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute of the match, Şükür Hagi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aníbal Berger was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Şükür Hagi could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Aníbal Berger however easily saved by the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Rozarius came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's Aníbal Berger got control of the ball when Bobby Pirés tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Leicester Lions! Grant Blacknell had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Rodriguez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's Carlos Alberto Nebbia made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Grant Blacknell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Şükür Hagi made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's goal looked a bit too open when Benny White came free, but Aníbal Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Rozarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Grant Blacknell made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Alberto Nebbia in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grant Blacknell saved Leicester Lions from getting behind. In the 60th minute Carlos Alberto Nebbia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Blacknell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo made a substitution. Donato Gonzalez replaced Carlos Alberto Nebbia. Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's Carlos García was substituted for Bartolo Rozarius. Emanuel Jaunzuria kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Lucas Darling cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Aníbal Berger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Stu Hislop got a free kick in the 70th minute. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Aníbal Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobby Pirés in the 77th minute of play. Donato Gonzalez might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grant Blacknell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donato Gonzalez ran back to his position shaking his head. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Gonzalez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
