Thommy Jadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignat Pantov in the 13th minute of play. Raimundo Coimbra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mário Maradona in the 18th minute. Mário Maradona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Boscras's Raimundo Coimbra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Boscras from getting a goal against them. After 28 minutes Boscras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Humberto Severo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led MINEIROS's Roberto Cunha to fire away a dangerous shot which Raimundo Coimbra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 41st minute Mário Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Coimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mário Maradona came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the MINEIROS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Maradona couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Mário Maradona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Coimbra was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 46th minute, Hao Zhan Ping hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mário Maradona to make the kick off. Haimo Kettner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thommy Jadis having to interfere. Mário Maradona hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Laércio Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignat Pantov in the 68th minute of play forced MINEIROS's goalkeeper Thommy Jadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bon Čáp in the 72nd minute of play forced Boscras's goalkeeper Raimundo Coimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 played minutes Boscras got a freekick which was hit by Haimo Kettner. Raimundo Coimbra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bon Čáp went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Boscras made a substitution. In the 96th play minute Nicolas Portugal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thommy Jadis. 2-1. Boscras's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
