Jabones Tocadores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC CERBEROS the free kick. A collision led to Jabones Tocadores getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Felix Azibar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alípio Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Orlando Mena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Joachim having to make a save. If Orlando Mena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Lehen scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Joachim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauro Joachim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Mena, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

AFC CERBEROS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Modesto Lehen scored to the left of an out of position Mauro Joachim, making the score, 1-2. With a little luck, AFC CERBEROS's Mauro Joachim got control of the ball when Domenico Checchia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Justo Carlomagno had several of the AFC CERBEROS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 92 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Mauro Joachim as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jabones Tocadores's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
