Fulgencio Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaw Gdowski in the 9th minute of the match. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC GIDLE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodion Nikitin was slow to take the kick. During this time AC LeX Luthor's players had a chance to rest. Peep Pronk might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Sarnat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peep Pronk ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, AC LeX Luthor's Artur Sarnat threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Peep Pronk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Artur Sarnat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peep Pronk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamílton Vergílio in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, FC GIDLE's goal looked a bit too open when Peep Pronk came free, but Artur Sarnat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Krzynowek, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute of the game Przemyslaw Jastrowicz made a throw-in which Zdzislaw Krzynowek played forward. 39 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Sarnat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Napoleon Pisarczyk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peep Pronk in the 54th minute of play forced FC GIDLE's goalkeeper Artur Sarnat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Napoleon Pisarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peep Pronk in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Sarnat saved FC GIDLE from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Hamílton Vergílio came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC LeX Luthor's Zeledon Savion was substituted for Hermenegildo Ventura. Jose Galtero replaced Godfredo Oriche. A collision led to FC GIDLE getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Hamílton Vergílio hit a great ball. 73 minutes in the game, Aristide Ciuvică dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Krzynowek in the 78th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaw Gdowski got free with Fulgencio Eyague in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC GIDLE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The FC GIDLE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
