Judas Verón recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Raggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Lenzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Lenzi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute of the match Belgrano de Pibasog got a corner. Jovens Democratas MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Blue Dolar ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Belgrano de Pibasog's corner Blue Dolar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dalmo Saldanha quite easily take care of the ball. In the 15th minute, Marcus Paes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Silvio Abadia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Dalmo Saldanha made a huge save. Dalmo Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Judas Verón in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Judas Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Raggio having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Belgrano de Pibasog's Blue Dolar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dalmo Saldanha. Dalmo Saldanha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Silvio Abadia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Dalmo Saldanha made a huge save. Bernardo Raggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, Belgrano de Pibasog's Silvio Abadia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmo Saldanha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 44th minute of the match Belgrano de Pibasog got a corner. Jovens Democratas MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Blue Dolar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Blue Dolar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha did a great save.

Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Melquiades Henrico replaced Blue Dolar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Judas Verón to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's Marcus Paes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Raggio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Judas Verón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Judas Verón in the 55th minute of play. Dalmo Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Judas Verón in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Mümtazer Kutlan got a free kick in the 65th minute. A nice corner shot did that Eustaquio Fortun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dalmo Saldanha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eustaquio Fortun succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to get real power on a long shot . Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 5-1! Dalmo Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Abadia, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Timo Haydon kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca was substituted for Judas Verón. Bernardo Raggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Li Sang in the 93rd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Belgrano de Pibasog fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jovens Democratas MZC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
