Kranji Crunchy's Jojon Sopandi got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho do Vale in the 14th minute of play forced Kranji Crunchy's goalkeeper Alfred Hutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Gofar Pohan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Squadra Sulista's Eloy Casagrande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Kranji Crunchy booed when Squadra Sulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eloy Casagrande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Barbosu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Alfred Hutton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 25 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho do Vale recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfred Hutton. Ronaldinho do Vale showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Squadra Sulista's Eloy Casagrande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Barbosu in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldinho do Vale got free with Alfred Hutton in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute Squadra Sulista were awarded a corner. Carlos Alberto Gamarra went to the cornerflag to take it. Kranji Crunchy's Alfred Hutton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Kranji Crunchy from getting a goal against them. Eloy Casagrande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gofar Pohan in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gofar Pohan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Casagrande was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Kranji Crunchy's zone, Ronaldinho do Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Hutton came out of the goal and Ronaldinho do Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Gofar Pohan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Casagrande was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Squadra Sulista's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cirilo Bembe was slow to take the kick. During this time Kranji Crunchy's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Kranji Crunchy's corner Cirilo Bembe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eloy Casagrande quite easily take care of the ball. In the 46th minute, Ronaldinho do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48thth minute of the game Gofar Pohan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Squadra Sulista's Eloy Casagrande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After having played for 51 minutes, Gofar Pohan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kranji Crunchy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gofar Pohan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gofar Pohan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Casagrande was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Kranji Crunchy's Jojon Sopandi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eloy Casagrande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Barbosu got free with Eloy Casagrande in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gofar Pohan in the 79th minute of play forced Squadra Sulista's goalkeeper Eloy Casagrande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Casagrande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gofar Pohan went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Squadra Sulista made a substitution. Felippe Monteiro replaced Jules Kabas. Kranji Crunchy's Victor Zichmann was substituted for Chung Kring. Jojon Sopandi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Eloy Casagrande made a huge save. Murillo Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Squadra Sulista fully deserved thier win.
