FC Gullegem's Jonathan Vrijdag quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 5th match minute, FC Gullegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pieter Teurfs to maneuver through the defense. Chevaliers FC's Niculae Ailenei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 7th minute of play. Axell Verduin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Navarro in the 9th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, FC Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Navarro came free, but Axell Verduin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Peter Bagge in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Gullegem's Jonathan Vrijdag. 16 minutes into the match, Barnaba Pilsudski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niculae Ailenei. Chevaliers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barnaba Pilsudski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Chevaliers FC's Niculae Ailenei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Vandamme in the 19th minute of play. FC Gullegem's attentive Jonathan Vrijdag managed to snatch the ball when Peter Bagge made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. In the 23rd minute Barnaba Pilsudski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Ailenei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barnaba Pilsudski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Niculae Ailenei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnaba Pilsudski, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Cristinel Pandele hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Barnaba Pilsudski took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niculae Ailenei. Niculae Ailenei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Axell Verduin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Niculae Ailenei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Pilsudski in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Barnaba Pilsudski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niculae Ailenei. Chevaliers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barnaba Pilsudski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. FC Gullegem's Waut Du Molin was substituted for Emanuel De Roest. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Navarro made a kick off. Pompiliu Fărcașu made in the 51st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Abdullah Ercan immediately put the ball in play. Niculae Ailenei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnaba Pilsudski, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Nikola Vlašić made a precise shot to the right of Axell Verduin. FC Gullegem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After 68 minutes Chevaliers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ion Giurgiu who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Waut Du Molin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 70th minute of play forced Chevaliers FC's goalkeeper Niculae Ailenei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niculae Ailenei made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Barnaba Pilsudski sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Navarro in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axell Verduin saved FC Gullegem from getting behind. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chevaliers FC's goalkeeper Niculae Ailenei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antonio Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barnaba Pilsudski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Niculae Ailenei made a huge save. The Chevaliers FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Gullegem's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Gullegem.
