Hélder Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Olof Kämpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Ubatuba's Hélder Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 9th minute of play. Hélder Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanasis Robos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Ubatuba's Juvenal Paraibano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vaggelis Lalas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Ubatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Avraam Sevastopoulos came free, but Hélder Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 26th minute of play. Hélder Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thanasis Robos in the 33rd minute of the match. Juvenal Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Juvenal Paraibano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 39 minutes YELLOW FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aristides Sagarteguieta who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Ubatuba getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Júnior Zanette hit a great ball. Vaggelis Lalas was a little too slow when Juvenal Paraibano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 59th minute of play forced Ubatuba's goalkeeper Hélder Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ubatuba's Pedro Cardozo got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 64th minute of the match Algirdas Radzevičius shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hélder Travassos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vaggelis Lalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Paraibano in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match Ubatuba got a corner. YELLOW FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aristides Sagarteguieta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Aristides Sagarteguieta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas did a great save. 80 minutes into the match, Ubatuba's goalkeeper Hélder Travassos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eutichios Panagakos. In the 83rd match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Matxin to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, YELLOW FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo do Valle came free, but Vaggelis Lalas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder Travassos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eutichios Panagakos in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo do Valle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Vaggelis Lalas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luiz Gustavo do Valle took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vaggelis Lalas. Vaggelis Lalas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiliam Vale during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ubatuba's Wiliam Vale got a free kick in the 96th minute. YELLOW FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
